Standard Introductory Flight
$225
This option includes one hour of air time in a Piper Warrior or Cherokee with one of Arapahoe's Certified Flight Instructors. You'll have the option to preflight the plane with your CFI. Then, enjoy the great views from the sky and experience what it's like to be a pilot.
Elite
Introductory Flight

Our elite discovery flight option includes a one hour flight in one of our finest Diamond DA-40 aircrafts, plus the preflight and your chance at the controls.

Helicopter

Enjoy 45 minutes of flight time in one of our comfortable R44 helicopters after our experienced flight instructor briefs you on how the controls work and what to expect. We believe in giving every flyer a positive helicopter flying experience where they can see the world with fresh eyes. That’s over a full hour of helicopter-saturated fun!

Would you like to fly over beautiful Colorado Springs to view the cities major attractions? Do you have a passion for seeing the vast and open skies? Join us for a scenic tour and enjoy the sites of our amazing city. We'll fly over Garden of the Gods, downtown Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs, Old Colorado City, and The Broadmoor/Seven Falls.

Every flight school says their program is "the best" and "safe" and "high quality training". So if everyone is the best, how can you choose? Well it comes down to what is the best for you. - We are the only flight school in Colorado that offers both fixed wing (airplane) and rotor (helicopter) training in the same place.
- We employ instructors with real commercial experience in aviation who are passionate about teaching, and not just building hours toward another job.
- The high-altitude environment here is challenging, and you'll leave with not only an edge over other professional pilots, but also the confidence to make appropriate decisions and manage each flight safely. If you can fly here, you can fly anywhere!
PILOT TRAINING
Our programs are a little different. We want you to be a competent pilot without breaking the bank! We respect both your time and money, and are committed to the task of training to a high standard and accomplishing your goals as close to the minimum required hours as possible. When you train with AFC, you are entering into a partnership with your instructor and your new aviation community to accomplish that task. We tend to ask a little more of our students in terms of at-home online ground school, reading, and homework in order to make the best use of your time while in the aircraft, thus maximizing your experience while minimizing your operational costs - all without compromising quality. Learning to fly is often one of the more challenging and rewarding experiences of one's life. We are committed to walking that path with you.
